is an autoimmune disorder in which the individual’s immune
system produces antibodies against the pancreatic beta cells

smooth flow of blood through the veins and arteries

the individual’s pancreas produces more insulin in an attempt to make up for the increased levels of blood glucose and dysfunction of cellular insulin receptors
