Liver: main function Produces bile : helps in the process of emulsification; where large fat globules are catalyzed into smaller droplets

Salivary glands : 3 types: parotid, submandibular and sublingual . They produce saliva which contains salivary amylase (begins the digestions of starch ) and lipase
Pancreas:Creates digestive juices. it has an endocrine function meaning it releases insulin from bloodstream to cells and exocrine function it releases enzymes that are going to be used for digestion in the duodenum
