•There is no cure for Mumps and it can occasionally cause more severe complications, in adults

Droplet infection-sneezing and coughing
•Direct contact with the saliva of infected person
Pathophysiology
Respiratory transmission of the virus
replication in the nasopharynx and regional lymph nodes
viremia 12-25 days post exposure with spread to tissues
