The 1932 July elections saw a growth in extremists with Hitler winning votes form members of the middle class.
Papen wnated to reimen in power but his support remained low. Schleicher convinced Hindenburg to dismiss paper and appoint himself as Chancellor.
Schleicher's government
Schleicher opened negations with Gregor Strasser, who was committed to a Nazi 'social' revolution, however this backfired as Hitler expelled Strasser form the Nazi party because he was a rival of Hitler.
Schleicher attempted to win over trade unions and workers by cancelling Papen's benefit cuts and devolving job creation schemes. However, this alienated Hindenburg and Hindenburg denied Schleicher's request to abandon the Reichstag.
