“Of Mice and Men” and “To A Mouse” Re-Analysis
The american dream relates to both the poem and the book "Of mice and men" because the mouse in the poem had a house and good stuff till it was all crushed and broken meanwhile in the book its vice versa since lennie and george will building up to get to their dream (both their dreams were represented and both didnt reach them)
"We'd have our own place where we belong." "It'd be our own and nobody could can us."

In the poem the man feels bad for the mouse after he crushed his house this relates to the book because lennie is kind of stopping george from reaching his dreams

" Their ten-acre farm will have a rabbits, chickens, and pigs. George says it will have an orchard, a windmill, and a vegetable patch; they will work when they want and take time off when they want. "
in both the book and the poem the characters did not reach their goals by the end
