Communicators
Roots and shoots
Goals for the project was to grow the engagement for the project within the school. My personal goal for my role in the project was to develop leadership skills and make the project more global.
I think that roots and shoots allowed me to be a communicator because it was a group project where I worked together with a team of people to organise after school lessons. Additionally I also had to practice communicating with different age groups as we had lessons for younger kids where I had to tailor my instructions to their age.

Cooking channel
Goals: Develop eight high quality recipe videos which are each from a different country and improve my planning and communication skills
This is an example of communication as throughout our videos we were sharing recipes. This meant that we had to effectively communicate ingredients, recipes and steps so that our recipes could be replicated. Also I practiced communication with my other group members when planning the videos.

MUN group
Goals: Learn what is needed to organise an MUN conference and develop planning and organising skills.
Demonstrates communication because as head of logistics I had to communicate with a range of people through emails and in person. Both people who I knew and some that I had never met before. Also when chairing a committee I had to practice communicating and leading a group of people.

Gym workout
-
This activity demonstrates me being balanced as I had to constantly be cautious about what workouts were the most fun and engaging for me while also thinking about how to best achieve my goals. Additionally as I wanted to workout consistently I had to learn how to balance school and homework with also going to the gym regularly.

Spain travel guide
Goal: To create a platform for other travelers wishing to explore the unique and more hidden attractions as well as help them navigate around.
This was an example of being open minded as I explored new places and welcomed new cultures. I tried new foods or went to places which I otherwise may not have. While I was travelling around Spain I was constantly excited to learn new things about the culture to enrich my own perspectives.

Demonstrates being a risk taker as I stepped out of my comfort zone to try new ski slopes and ski in places where I might not have before. I also challenged myself to ski even when the weather was not ideal and developed my technique a lot.
