Tile in Hoi An is a type of tile made from earth, thin, rough, square in shape, about 22cm each side and slightly curved
This way of roofing is called yin and yang tile roofing. When the roof is finished, the tiles are fixed with mortar, forming strips of tile that protrude along the roof.
