What are the circumstances around the product? How is it being framed?
Memory tends to create preference
Things that were seen before will be preferred to entirely new things
Whether the 1st encounter became memory or not is irrelevant
Perception
How a particular thing is viewed by a consumer
What is the product packaging or container?
Is it coffee? What kind of cup is it served in? Ceramic? Paper?
How will the presentation of the product effect the customer's perception?
