- this quickly divides to make lots of clones that produce the monoclonal antibodies

prostate cancer can be detecting monoclonal antibodies. first they are labeled with radioactive element. then given to patient through a drip into blood. when come in contact they attach to tumor markers. Doctors take a photo using special camera that shows radioactivity using dots.
other treatments like chemotherapy and radiotherapy can kill any normal body cells but monoclonal antibodies allows the drug to target the specific cells.
