It consisted in four books linked to four different setting
The hero is Gulliver
Swift provided maps of the place Gulliber visited
In the first book Gulliver sails from Bristol
After six months he shipwracked somewhere in South Pacific
Cast upon the shore of Lilliput, they are only six inches tall
In the second book Gulliver sails for India
He finds himself in Brobdingnagian, and the native are giants, twelve times as tall as Gulliver
He becomes the King’s pet
Rescued by a ship, he return to England
In the third book, Gulliver’s ship attracted by pirates
He find him self on Laputa
the inhabitants are immortal absent-minded astronomers, philosophers and scientists who make absurd experiments
The island drop Gulliver on Japan, and he manages to return in England
In the fourth book there is Gulliver’s last voyage to the island inhabited by the ‘Houyhnhnms’
horses endowed with reason that rule over the ‘Yahoos’
the horses banish him and he leaves for England
He join his wife and children but cannot stand their smell of humanity
He goes to live in a stable
