Unit 3. Resources - Coggle Diagram

      - Financial resources: money, accounts in our favor, financial instruments, etc.
      - Technological resources: know-how.
      - Physical resources: infrastructure, office equipment, computers, technological equipment, etc.
      - Talent: the talent and knowledge of its people.
- - - - Imagine you are a chef and you are ordered to cook rice with chicken, and you don't have chicken. The result will not be exactly what they expected from you. You will look bad, because you did not have the necessary resources.
        
        In that case there are two options:
        
        Change task
        
        In this case, it means communicating to the head chef that there is no chicken and suggesting a change to the menu. If the boss accepts, the task has been changed: now what is expected is not rice with chicken, but... rice with pork or soup or something else, and if everything is done right, that is what you will get. Now nobody got it wrong. To change the task definition is to go back to the outline suggested on page 13 and make changes to fit reality.
        If the boss still does not accept, you will have to buy the chicken or buy the rice already prepared, whatever, but without the necessary resources - no matter how lucky you are - you will not get the expected products (results).
        
        Obtain the missing resources
        
        It is to go outside to look for what is needed. In the example, what is missing is chicken. Someone can be entrusted to buy chicken or get it somehow. If it is obtained, there would be no need to change the task.
        Many people take neither option. They just keep doing the tasks given to them and in the end they don't get what they expected. If you can't change the task, you have to be an entrepreneur and get the necessary resources elsewhere.
