The pagoda was restored by architect Nguyen Ba Lang according to the architecture left by the Nguyen Dynasty
One Pillar Pagoda currently consists of a square Lien Hoa station, with a length of 3 m on each side, a curved roof, erected on a 4 m high column (excluding the submerged part), 1.2 m in diameter with 2 stone pillars, overlap into a block.

The Lien Hoa station has a tiled roof, four curved corners, and a two dragons adoring the moon above.
There are no lotus petals on the stone pillars as mentioned in the inscriptions of the Ly Dynasty, but the pagoda built on a pillar rising out of the water is still a unique architecture.

Next to One Pillar Pagoda today, there is also a pagoda with a three-way gate, with a three-word horizontal painting "Dien Huu Tu"
