Algae
- Can produce own food through photosynthesis. (Like plants)

- Can be found in the air, water, soil and on living things.
- Different shapes, such as spherical, rod or spiral form.
- Obtain nutrients from other living things.

Fungi
- Can be found in the air, water, soil and on other living things.
- Decompose/Break down substances that they live on.
- Reproduce using spores.

Protozoa
- Can be found in ponds, lakes and rivers.
- Can move to find food (Like animals).

- Smallest microorganisms.
- Can only live and reproduce inside living things.
- Can only be seen using electron microscopes.
