- - - - I find that my Parkinson's is out of control at times. I feel like the medication made my symptoms worse than before.

        I am taking levodopa

        about 7 years now, why?
        
        Long term therapy of Levodopa can cause some motor complications such as levodopa -induced Dyskinesia.

        How are you managing your medications?
        
        I do take them as prescribed, but at times I may need to adjust the times because I took the first dose late.
        
        Its important to take it at the same times each day to get the full effectiveness of the medication and to avoid episodes of ON-OFF. Maybe putting reminders for yourself could help you stay on top of it.

        What makes you say that your symptoms are getting worse than before?
        
        Even after taking the medication, I get a jerking feeling in my legs. I thought the medications were meant to reduce them.
        
        Do you know how often you experience these jerk movements in your legs?
        
        I haven't really kept track of it, but its just very random at times.
        
        Has this affected your ability to do certain things such as walking or eating?
