The Gunslinger Twins
Ten year old Izumi and Izuku are caught in an explosion at Hisashi's Lab in America which kills Hisashi and Inko, but one of Hisashi's lab partners, Dr. Tsunotori, pays for their hospital bills and takes them in.
They become shells of their former selves until Tsunotori and his daughter, Pony, encourage them to get back on their feet
The Tsunotoris and several people that Hisashi helped over the years paid for state of the art military grade prosthetics and tuition to Dwight D. Eisenhower Hero Academy's Accelerated program
It is brought to the twins' attention that their quirks would lend themselves greatly to firearm use in hero work. They are hesitant at first, but Izuku gradually grows to love guns, whereas Izumi (metaphorically) gets hot and bothered over the gunpowder from her rifle.
Izumi begins to focus on long range weaponry and reconnaissance, while Izuku focuses on short to mid range firearms, both becoming proficient in handguns as well. The twins even get their prosthetics replaced with ones that have weaponry built in, Izuku's arm being a machine gun all on its own
Over the years, Pony becomes incredibly attracted to Izumi, which is not reciprocated. After Pony's many attempts, Izumi promises her that she'll consider it when she turns 18.
The three best friends become inseparable, even when Izumi and Izuku get their full hero license at eighteen, five years before thirteen year old Pony is set to even go to hero school at UA.
After only a five years of being heroes, they become the youngest heroes in the Southern United States to crack the top 100, and Izumi is the youngest to crack the Texas top 20
Months before Pony is set to go to UA, the twins are contacted by Nedzu himself, who asks them to teach at UA, as recommended by their several time guest instructor, Snipe, and a several time coworker, Lady Nagant
