Sustainable Development Goals
... which are sustainable goals and targets that have been established in order to improve agendas and political policies of UN member states over the upcoming 15 years (United Nations, n.d.). Total of 17 SDG's
How did SDG's originate?
The SDGs have been established at the UN Conference on Sustainable Development. This was held in 2012, in one of the biggest cities in Brazil, namely Rio de Janeiro. The main aim of this conference was to come up with set of integrated global goals that have been set to help humanity face future challenges that are related to the environment, economy, and politics.
IOW, the SDGs are addressing the worldwide most interrelated urgent problems. Resulting in 17 universal Sustainable Development Goals that hopefully can make the world a better place for everyone.
FUTURE, we are responsible for our own future.
What happens if we do not do anything?
What happens if we DO something?
Create AWARENESS, push people into a direction
TIME keeps going until at some point there is the realisation that it is too late
MONEY
Being sustainable is expensive
In the end, it is all about making profit within an industry
TRENDS
Why are trends so important? Trends are needed for creating a new or adapting an existing experience
Why do we need trends? According to the Chairperson Stein of the Community Session on 7.02.2023, trends provide organizations and individuals, understanding of the market, and future directions. Besides that, with the help of trends, companies are able to do research on different kinds of aspects (that are based on trends) to get to know their target market.
