Count nouns refer to things that exist as separate and distinct individual units.Examples:

. Non-count Nouns

This, That, These, Those

How much + singular?

Example:

 How much sugar? Much sugar

Much is a determiner used with uncountable nouns.

wholes that can't be cut into parts. (for example, furniture).
