Declarative - a statement
Imperative - command
Interrogative - question
Compund - Two independent clauses joined by a conjunction
Complex - sentence constructed out of independent and sub clauses.
Minor - grammatically incorrect sentence.
Polysyndeton - repetition of 'and' in a sentence.

Genre - type of text
Narrative voice - perspective of text
Schema - expectation of text
Rehearsed - prepared spoken text
Perspective - way is which you see something from reading text.
Viewpoint - Position or attitude of text.
Pragmatics
Humour - comedy in text
Implied meaning - what you can infer from lexis or a text
Connotations - what lexis can symbolise

Values - morals of the text.
Phonology
Assonance - repetition of vowel sounds
Consonance - repetition of consonant sounds
Non verbal sounds - sound effects in spoken text
False starts - starting a spoken sentence then restarting it.
Overlaps - talking over each other
Voiced pause - pauses such as um and uh
Filler - lexis used to unintentionally fill pauses
