What is it?
Gender stratification relates to a social standing with men holding greater positions than women. Gender inequality and gender stratification are frequently used interchangeably.

Educational Stratification
What is it?
Educational stratification refers to the separation of students into groups on the basis of academic achievement. A societal mechanism in which individuals are sorted or categorized creating inequalities and unequal opportunities.
Facts & Statistics
Access to education and to educational attainments is a function of social class, economic status, gender, disability, personal preferences, education 'quality', teachers, pedagogy, peer relations, etc. schools will attract wealthier students and better teachers.
What country shows this type of stratification the most?
Countries vary in the extent and type of stratification. But probably it would be a high income country where education is given a greater value, and where students with lower grades are separated from the highest achieving ones. We see this happening a lot in the developed asian countries like China or South Korea.
