In embryonic development, I can see that most animal species look the exact same in the first stage of development, which is not seen in matured animals. Also, It takes until the last stage of development to really see unique characteristics such as beaks, shells, snouts, etc. and even in the second development most of the animals look the same excluding fish and salamanders.
