Video 1
Starting a New Presentation
Go to the Microsoft 365 homepage and log in.
Click on 'New Blank Presentation' for full design freedom.
Slide 1 will appear as your starting point.
Selecting a Preloaded Theme
On the home screen, browse themes displayed at the top.
Click 'More Themes' to explore additional options.
Selecting a theme ensures a consistent and professional look.
Maintaining Design Consistency
A consistent theme helps keep your audience focused.
Themes provide predesigned slide layouts for cohesion.
The first slide is typically the title slide.
Video 3 and 4:Insert and edit tables
Adding Images
Click the "Insert Image" icon → Choose:
From file (device storage)
From online (web search)
Resizing & Adjusting Images
Use corner handles to resize without distortion.
Avoid resizing from the middle points (prevents stretching).
Click the rotation handle to rotate images.
Cropping Images
Click the image → Picture Format Tab → Select Crop.
Drag the edges to crop → Click outside to confirm.
Inserting Shapes
Click Insert → Shapes → Choose a shape (e.g., star).
Resize and move it like images.
Use Shape Fill to change color & Shape Outline to adjust borders.
Adding a Table
Use a preformatted slide (with the "Insert Table" icon).
Click the icon → Choose number of rows & columns → Click OK.
If no preformatted option:
Click Insert → Table → Select number of rows & columns manually.
Resizing a Table
Drag corner handles to resize.
Adjust column width for better layout.
Editing Table Text
Click inside a cell → Type text.
Highlight text → Use Home Tab to change font, size, or color.
Customizing Table Design
Click the table → Open the Table Design Tab.
Available options:
Insert/Delete rows & columns
Merge cells
Adjust alignment
Change table color theme
Add banded rows/columns for better readability
Customize borders (change color, thickness, and style).
Video 2: Adding and Formatting Slides
Customizing Slide Settings
Adjust slide size (Standard, Widescreen, or Custom) in the 'Design' tab.
Modify the background color or insert an image.
Use 'Apply to All' to maintain uniformity across slides.
Editing slides
Changes apply automatically for consistency.
Customize slide colors using the drop-down menu.
Change designs via the 'Design' tab.
Click on a slide to edit it in the main workspace.
Thumbnails of slides appear in the left column.

Preparing Your Presentation
Ensure your slides are complete and well-organized.
Check the thumbnails on the left to review your slides.
Your presentation should include:
Title Slide (Name of the presentation).
Agenda Slide (Overview of topics).
Main Content Slides (Images, tables, etc.).
Starting the Slide Show
Click on the Slideshow Tab in the top menu.
Select "From Beginning" to start the slideshow.
The presentation will go full-screen, starting with the title slide.
Click the mouse or press arrow keys to advance through slides.
After the last slide, PowerPoint returns to the editing screen.
Using Presentation Tools (Bottom Left Corner of Slideshow View)
Forward/Back Arrows → Move between slides.
Slide Thumbnails → View all slides at once.
Pen Tool → Write or highlight directly on slides.
You can underline, highlight, and annotate while presenting.
Use the Eraser Tool to remove drawings.
Any annotations disappear when exiting the slideshow.
Presenting from a Specific Slide
Click "Present from Current Slide" in the Slideshow Tab.
The slideshow starts from your selected slide.
Press Esc to exit full-screen mode.
Rehearse with Presenter Coach
PowerPoint 365 includes a Presenter Coach feature.
It provides real-time feedback on:
Filler words (e.g., "um," "uh").
Repetitive language.
Inclusivity of speech.
Speaking pace.
Pronunciation & clarity.
Originality of speech.
A detailed report suggests areas for improvement.
You can rehearse multiple times to refine your delivery.
Finalizing Your Presentation
Well-designed and formatted.
Containing images, tables, and clear information.
Ready for final presentation and audience engagement.
