What?
Monitoring the status of project and product scope, and managing changes to the scope baseline.

- Determine the cause and degree of variance from the scope baseline.
- Decide if corrective or preventive action is needed.

Change Control Board:
- A board with authority to approve or deny change requests as defined by the organization.
- CCB members may include stakeholders, managers, project team members, and others with no direct project connection.
- Roles and responsibilities are defined and documented in the change management plan.
