Top Tips on how to revise
1. Know the time of your exam and know what top you'll be examined on
Be organised - make sure you know when you exam is and give yourself enough time to prepare.
Know what topic you'll be assed on. It tends not to be helpful if you revise and cram in the wrong information
So don't make silly mistakes and look at your topic lists
2. Write a revision plan
Plan your day according to when you have your next exam
Make notes of when you're going to tell yourself you're going to sit down and limit distractions and crack on with some work.
Make this time long enough that you get some productive revision in but don't make it too long, as you may lose your concentration
3. Productive Revision
Make sure you're doing something productive. This means not just reading over previous work or notes
Actually make some new notes and re fresh your memory
This is really good to see what you know and so when you come back to this subject you know what to revise and focus on
4. Lots of question
Completing past paper question on the topic is good as you get to know what level they will be in the real exam
It also helps you have an insight on what might actually be coming up in the exam
It builds up the mental side and helps you get into the right attitude and frame of mind. Which also may build your confidence if your nervous for the exam.
