Company Names and Logo Design
Going for a sort of pennant design and adding a camera which says a bit more. Again, this would eventually have a phone number and email. Name is a bit boring and uninspiring perhaps.
The next obvious idea was to use a video camera with information on the body. Exploring this further I could add other text and embellish it more. I thought this was the best idea so far.
Not being sure if the camera was too old-fashioned I went back to the album idea because someone mentioned weddings do still have albums; but just to improve my original idea. Add more text and to have it more like a logo. I combined the camera with a smiley face, calling the company 'Cherished Moments Video productions'.
It was suggested to me to try something more dynamic and upbeat, a company that was going places. Cue an arrow in place of the camera lens and combining a camera body with an album. And writing the name in the main area with details to be included afterwards.

I thought of going with the idea of showing that you can watch your finished video back onscreen, so implying it has been recorded and not trying to show how. This was meant to be a more modern approach,
I was persuaded to try and show a more modern camera, but the issue with this was it looks like a stills camera rather than a video camera. It may therefore not convey the right message. Also tried a new name but discarded it.
Carrying on with the modern camera plan I added a body and went back to the name 'Cherished Moments'. Again I could add further details on the body. Add a photo in the lens but there is still the issue of looking more like a stills photographer. Not that that's a bad thing, just not what I mean to say.
Then it occurred to me to try an old-fashioned but timeless clapperboard as it speaks universally and is understood. People should associate it with professionalism or at least someone who is organised. It is great for writing details.
Final idea! Still using the clapperboard but add more detail and colour. I used too much colour in my final sketch. Still need to tweak the layout and what information goes on it.
First idea was a simple 3D album style with the name on the front. Just and my name and the word 'Video',
