The rime of the ancient mariner, the killing of the Albatross , a sad and wiser man
An old sailor tells a young man his story. The sailor’s ship was stuck in a storm, and he killed an albatross, a bird that was thought to bring good luck. This made the crew suffer, and they faced many bad things. After a long time, the sailor learns that killing the bird was wrong. He becomes sad and wiser, realizing how important it is to respect nature and all living creatures. The poem teaches us about the consequences of our actions.
