Setting: Early steam era (sail airships are still the most common but machines and weapons powered by steam are starting to make their appearance through experimental units)
Player: Soldier of the 43rd Experimental Regiment. Genetically modified to be stronger than the average person he starts of using an experimentally designed steam musket(steam provided through a large tank on his back). Example of a steam musket can be seen in the anime Last Exile Episode.1 around the 16:20 mark. otherwise he is outfitted with a uniform from the Northern Leagues main army the shoulder of which bears his regiment emblem.
Boss Battle: Not fully decided but something like a enemy experimental weapon that will become more common through missions.
Enemy Types:

Grenadier (Armed with a shortsword and Grenades(would need to figure out grenade lobbing for this one))
Mortar (A somewhat decently sized cast mortar(see 1700s mortar designs) lobs projectiles in the same way as a Grenadier but over a larger distance)

Level inspiration:
Starts out in like a quite dense forest(primarily fir and birch) moving onwards into a town(buildings based on like town houses from the 1600s) occupied by enemy troops several of the houses have been burned down to ash and debris moving through the small town you get to a wooden church with a marksman in the tower, past the church slightly hilly plain which leads to an enemy Fob, at the fob you will have to fight through large groups of enemies before finally getting to the boss arena (boss arena to be decided)
