Unit 8 ideas generation - Coggle Diagram

- - - - Captures the 'suspense' of the interrogation, when in reality the interrogation is silly and pathetic. This is used on the interrogator, as it makes him look dominant.
    - - A similar use to the low angle, except I'm including these angles because they show something wrong with the current situations, which fits the interrogator well because he seems very hot-headed and sleazy.
    - - Captures the disadvantaged, confused and annoyed in the interrogation. This is used on the interrogatee, as he fits these descriptions.
  - - - This is the primary lighting for the entire room. Interrogations are connoted to detective/film noir movies, where low-key lighting is a popular choice. Thus, low-key lighting being a good choice for my production.
    - - This lighting is used for the interrogator because it reflects on his character and about how he is a narcissistic brat, all with his "dignity" taken away.
  - - - This sound is used for intimidation and suspense.
    - - This sound is used for frustration and sadism. This sound is always performed by the interrogator.
  - - - The protagonist of the film. A calm, worriless person who has been abducted and taken to a poorly-lit room, where he meets a familiar face - his friend, the interrogator.
    - - The main antagonist of the short film. Abducted the interrogator in his own house. A narcissistic, ill-tempered, sadistic hate-sink who will do anything to get an answer he wants.
    - - The overarching antagonist of the short film. He is the reason for making the interrogator believe that a piece of paper saying "dignity" is what depends on his ownership of it. The dad has made one for himself.
  - - - Drama/comedy
        
        The drama in this includes the rage of the interrogator, and the comedy includes the stupidity of the interrogation.
    - - Interrogation
        
        This is the iconic and obvious theme of the short film.
- - - - This shot is for the wasp nest as it is first introduced. The background is blurred while the nest is focused on so the audience can see it easily and quickly while also seeing the characters walk towards it.
    - - This shot is used for Gerald's reaction to spotting the wasp nest. Charlie stays while Gerald runs away. This shot is an emphasis of a side-by-side comparison between the two in terms of what the characters are scared of.
  - - - Charlie is the main character of the short film. He is a guy who loves to sleep during the day, and whenever anything bad happens to him, he does everything he can to find the source of whatever troubles him.
    - - Gerald is Charlie's roommate. His hardened outward appearance is a façade as while he claims to be scared of nothing, he is terrified by insects.
- - - - This is because the short film takes place in the forest.
  - - - This is the one and only camera angle for the entire short film. This use of the camera angle is inspired by V/H/S. The camera angle adds realism, and opportunity for greater scares.
  - - - The protagonist of the short film. He not seen within the film and there is no description or details about him, except for his gender, based on his voice. His only role in the short film is walking through the forest and the audience views through his perspective.
    - - The titular main antagonist of the short film. He is a dark figure who lurks the forest. He is a hostile figure, as when he first sees the protagonist, he charges towards him without hesitation.
  - - - This is the most important aspect of the short film.
