make sure you have the right equipment suitable for your coaching sessions
if doing a gym program make sure your sessions are set in the gym and the equipment/machines you need are available

if you want to improve in a department like 1rpm squats then do something that applies to that.
keep the session on topic with your goal
keep the sessions based on the topic for example squats don't go for low weight high sets go for higher weight lower sets

set up evaluation sessions to help give information to work towards your goal.

set up a pre test to see where learners are before the training program
do an interval test at the mid point to see if they are moving in a positive direction towards there goal
do a post test to see if the participants achieved there goal.

review the coaching programme to see if it was a success with a peer or tutor
review the strengths and weaknesses of the coaching program
