In my family, Paryushan is the most important celebration — it’s a time for self-reflection, fasting, and spiritual growth. During these days, we focus on prayer, reading Jain scriptures, and practicing forgiveness. The last day, Samvatsari, is especially meaningful because we ask for forgiveness from everyone by saying "Micchami Dukkadam". Diwali is also special to us, not just for lights and celebrations, but because it marks Lord Mahavira’s nirvana — his liberation from the cycle of birth and death. These rituals and holidays remind us to live with kindness, humility, and mindfulness, keeping our faith and values strong.
