Traditionally - The patriarchy has been state sponsored. Millet - Promotion of the nuclear family and damaging traditional family ideals. -Sheila rowbotham - state sponsored capitailist ecenomics has destroyed the place for women in the workplace, subordinating them to male ideals.
Who dominates in a patrarchial society - Radicals - demonise men encourage political lesbianism/sepratism MILLET -hooks- white men, black working class man and woman have more in common than a black working class woman and a white middle class woman.
