The product must be consumable (topical products such as creams, patches, eternal applications arent regulated by this SOP)
Common health supplement formats include:
Oral capsules and tablets
Packaging in full English with keywords: "Dietary Supplement, Supplement Facts, Vitamin & Minerals"
Blue Hat label
Identify Health food products & Determine origin
Check if product in CN origin: Products with full Chinese labels, Blue Hat logo or English labels but with Chinese manufacturer/origin address are considered to be of Chinese origin.
If product lacking details on the origin, apply: Risk Classification > AE Compliance Control > Food & Health Products > No Qualification in Category >

Non-domestic health supplement
Exception: Enzyme products do not require regulation if
they fall under the health supplement category (Beauty & Health -> Health Care -> Health Supplement (Vitamins & Supplements) -> Ferment), are produced in Japan, and have Japanese labeling on the packaging. However, if enzyme products are listed under other categories and sold by Chinese sellers, they are subject to regulation.
Products with labels entirely in English can usually be considered to be of foreign origin (unless otherwise stated) or Well-known health food brands (e.g. Swisse, BLACKMORES)
