Magnet unit 3 - Coggle Diagram

- - - - Take a drawing board and fix a smooth white sheet over it.
        
        On the paper, sprinkle fine powder of iron filings such that it evenly spreads on the paper
        
        Now take a bar magnet and place in over the paper in north-south direction, make sure that the bar magnet is in middle of the drawing board.
        
        Tap the board gently
        
        Observation: It will be observed that the iron fillings will settle in a small area around the bar magnet in the form of curves
        
        This clearly proves the magnetic force of bar magnet as the iron fillings moved and repoisitioned themselves because of the force of bar magnet.
- - - - So therefore, poles of the magnetic are also known as closed continuous curves.
