Larger animals don't have to use as much energy as smaller animals to perform daily functions. This is because a smaller body requires more effort to make sure there is enough effort to fuel them for the entire day.

The higher the body mass of an animal the less energy it will use to stay alive, leading to them living longer.

Extract data from Quaardvark on birds and mammals. Use statistics to analyze the data and create a graph to visualize any positive correlation.

I went into Quaarrdvark and entered the data I wanted to see for birds and mammals (body mass, BMR, and lifespan). After receiving the data, I entered the aloes into excel and calculated the mean, variance, and created graphs comparing the lifespan of organisms in relation to their body mass and BMR.

Organisms with a larger body mass seem to live longer than those with a lower body mass. As shown in the graphs, as body mass increases lifespan increases linearly.
