An impression is a perception of sensations and emotions

Association patterns
Contiguity
Are the ideas that come together.
Ex. The events of your day
In the space or time
Cause and effect
It is just a association pattern and we can not use it as a relation pattern
Because all events are independent from each other
For it to be cause there needs to be
Contiguity
Time priority
Necessary conection
Similar
The connection of ideas because of the similarities in things
Ex. We connect all the flowers because of their similarities
He rejected
The idea of a God
Because it does not have a sensorial base.
Metaphysics
They do not help to understand the world
