Clothing
Mayan
Men would wear a shirt, pants, a hat, and a belt or a sash if they could afford it. They also carried a bag or manpurse.
Women wore a huipil/blouse, a corte/skirt, and a sash similar to the men's. They also carry a shawl that could keep them warm on a cool day or be used to have a child on their back.
Incan
Inca clothing was different depending on social class. The royal class and rich would wear fine wool and brightly colored clothes. Ordinary people's clothes were simple. The men wore a band of cloth around their waist and women wore long cotton dresses
Social Structure
The Mayan hierarchy. There was the priest, the highest on the social ladder who had many wives. Then the council which was normally the royal family who had many wives.Then the nobles who had many wives. Then the commoners. And lastly, the slaves which were used most for sacrifice.
The Incan social system was similar to the Mayan's. But the king had many wives and children. At the end of his life he chooses one of his sons to take his position as king.
Food
Ancient Mesoamerican were able to grow and eat corn, beans, squash, sweet potatoes, pepper, cakes, avocados, fish, deer, fowl, dog, popcorn, and tomatoes.
Architecture
There were a lot of temple/pyramid structures. Most of the larger structures were for cultural purposes, like a temple for the sun or a pyramid for the moon. Most early structures were made of dirt, clay, and stone.
Jobs
There were slaves, merchants, priests, leaders, warriors, scribes, government officials, craftsmen, traders, weavers, potters, farmers, and that's just getting started.
Education
Almost all children got a chance to go to school. Only if you did well were you allowed to continue. They had different types of education that you could choose. For example the Calmecac education focused on history, art, philosophy and governance, and the Cuicacalli education focused on military expertise.
Entertainment
For fun, the Aztecs played sports, board games, and they danced. The primary event was the game ullamaliztli, a variation on the game played in Central America since the time of the Olmecs. It is played with a ball. The Mayan had very similar ways to spend the past time.
Language
The Olmec and the Mayan both had a written and speaking language. The Aztecs language was called Nahuatl. They would also use hieroglyphics to communicate. This shows that there city's were very advanced.
