Error Sources and Common Mode Rejection - Coggle Diagram
Error Sources and Common Mode Rejection
Common mode rejection
Common mode input voltage v_ic
The signal common to both inputs of opamp
Differential mode gain
The amplification factor for the difference between the two input signals
Differential mode input voltage
The voltage difference between the inverting and non-inverting inputs, which the op-amp amplifies in normal operation.
Common mode rejection ratio CMRR
The ratio of differential gain to common-mode gain, expressed in dB,
Indicates how well the opamp rejects common-mode signals while amplifying differential signals.
DC error sources
Input offset voltage V_os
Small DC voltage applied to the input terminals of amplifier
Input current bias I_b
Small DC current applied to input terminals of amplifier
Input offset current I_os
Difference between two bias currents
Produces undesired voltage at amplifier output
Bias current compensation resistor R_B
Reduces output voltage error
