Multifunctional ZnO @ tannic acid nanoparticles embedded in chitosan and polyvinyl alcohol blend packaging film for food, have the lowest water vapor and oxygen permeability, better tensile strength and Young's modulus and antibacterial and UV-blocking properties. Chemical structures of films were determined by FT-IR. XRD, solubility percentage analysis, water vapor and oxygen permeability analysis, ultraviolet blocking analysis, etc. are used to characterize the film properties.
