This location being chosen as the venue for Polyfest is because of it's large area, there are many areas inside the that allow stages to be set up so that they can let tons of diverse cultures perform there such as Maori, Samoan, Tongan, Niuean, Fiji, etc. With the stages still being set up, there are still extra space for other stalls and facilities such as bathrooms, food stalls and health aid.
