What colour scheme will i use?
for my old artists, venues and concerts my colour scheme would be dull
i will use a contrast of dull and bright colours
for the modern day artists, concerts and venues, i would have a bright colour scheme.
what fonts will i use?
headings: big bold fonting
main text: clean and structured fonts therefore it is easy to read
captions: big bold fonting slightly smaller than headings, bigger than main text
pull quote: same as main text slightly bigger so that attention is still drawn towards it
Who is my target audience?
Age: my magazine cover is not aimed directly towards a specific age however i think it will attract adolescence- later adulthood as it contrasts between old generation music and modern day today music, it is interesting to see the history between the generations of music in Liverpool.
Gender: i don't think my magazine appeals to a specific genre as music does not have a gender label.
location: Liverpool is my main location target as the magazine advertises Liverpool's music history however i would also like to promote Liverpool's music to other cities as well such as London.
income: My target income audience is middle aged people with a higher disposable income so therefore i can make a profit from the magazine.
ethnicity: My magazine design is available to all ethnicity's and religions. My magazine will also include all different ethnicities within artists and venues which also makes the magazine educational. I think due to the design being based on Liverpool, my magazine may be targeted more towards people in the UK.
What is the purpose of my campaign?
To promote new artists
To educate people on Liverpool's music history.
to make people aware of the music scene in liverpool.
personnel required:
the specific amount of employee help i will need to publish a successful magazine cover. I will need a publisher and a graphic designer in order to correctly publish this cover with everything necessary.
Timescales: i will need to ensure myself and team work swiftly however carefully in order to ensure it is published in time and has no mistakes.
legal and ethical issues: i need to ensure there is no copyright in my magazine and is morally correct.
health and safety requirements: ensure work stations are set up correct and regular breaks are encouraged.
