Internal locus of control
Anger triggers:
clenching my fists and teeth sweaty hands I sometimes look down or look displeased.
Question: would I want this to prevent me from moving forward in life.
solution: just walk away or leave what is making me mad its not worth it to hit my anger head on and its not worth the trouble and wasting my time
Cognitive restructuring
It doesn't matter how hard you try in life as long as you savor every day like its your last. I learned this from rebuilding motors you try your best to make it perfect but then you ship the motor off and never see it again. Sometimes you have to take it slow enjoy the process sometimes with friends work on your problem solving skills if you don't enjoy the process you are bound to failure. Every day you should say I love you, I miss you, See you tomorrow, morning, and goodbye at the beginning or end of a conversation to try and leave a lasting impact on the people around you. as one rule to live by the kinder you are the more people are willing to help you when your down. some ways to handle adversity is focus on the things you enjoy doing hang out with you best friends don't sweat it the good times are still here. To keep your self young stay physically active like running eat lots of fruits and vegetables. One thing to value in life are relationships, with you friends, family, girl friend or a wife a good relation ship with somebody can bring you lots of joy. something to keep yourself healthy do things you enjoy hang out with people you like to be around. to create a healthy relationship you should try to be friendly and kind like saying good morning and good night every once and a while. I believe that hard work pays off sometimes it just takes a while and I also believe karma is a real thing.
Reframing
Some people think that I'm dirty all the time... I like to think that I'm a hard worker
some people think I talk to much... I like to think I'm open to sharing my thoughts
Some people think I'm mean to my sister... I like to think Its just our way of being brother and sister
Realistic goals
take apart and Rebuild a DT436B motor by taking the motor out of the tractor and bringing it into my shop for teardown, cleaning, and final assembly before may 1st I know I will have achieved this goal after the motor is all torn apart is rebuilt and runs without using lots of oil.
Smile projection
three thing that makes me laugh is working on something with a friend and one of us make a mistake on something easy/ forget something.
driving vehicles around with friends around the trails always make me laugh.
driving tractors around with grandpa or a friend either in the cab with me or they are on another motor vehicle trying to predict what they are about to do or trying to communicate at a distance it gets a little goofy sometimes. Sometimes I laugh at random things when I get bored on a tractor alone in the fields
"House MD" a TV show
Downward comparison
my grandma when she was pregnant with my uncle Jamie and my mom. She had to work all night then in the morning had to milk cows for a few hours then took a short nap and then worked a full day on the farm driving tractor unloading small squares. At the end of the day she would take a nap then work another full night repeating every day. There is no way I could do this normally let alone being pregnant.
life makeovers
I had a huge tasty lunch
Played four square with my friends
I got to eat marshmallows in science
Got to eat 49er flapjacks this morning
