Wireless Communication
Wi-Fi
It is a wireless technology used to connect devices to a network. It is used home and office networks, towns and cities.
Bluetooth
It allows the devices to connect over short distances, but it doesnt carry as much data as wifi. These devices must be paired with eachother.This can be used in smartphones, headphones, earphones.

3G, 4G And 5G
Sometimes referred to as mobile broadband, it provides internet access to mobile devices and tablet devices when when a Wi-Fi signal isnt available.
Infra-red
They have a short range. Transmitters must have access to a clear line of sight to receivers. this allows the signal to travel in a straight line, without something blocking.
Near-field communication
These use Radio Frequency Identification chips. Used in smartphones, payment cards and travel cards.
