1. Confirm that you're logged in to **Hyperspace** as your builder (2230##/train).
2. Search > Encounter.
3. Search for and select your Mathilda patient.
It is essential that you create the test encounter appropriately.
1. In the Encounter Selection window, click Create an Encounter and enter the following:
* Type: Office Visit
* Department: TRNCLN## Endocrinology (replacing ## with your 2-digit number)
2. Confirm that you changed the Department to your TRNCLN## Endocrinology department, then click Accept.
3. Rooming > Visit Information.
* You may need to click the Visit Information section to enter new data.
4. In Reason for Visit, enter:
* Fever
* Rash
5. Click **Next**.
* CHECK: OPA #1 triggers in Storyboard.

2. Click the OPA in Storyboard - but do NOT acknowledge the OPA!
3. Click Cancel to close the OPA.
4. Close Mathilda's patient workspace.
5. Search > Encounter.

6. Search for and select your Mathilda patient.
* Hint: Use the equal = sign.
7. Open the most recent office visit that you created in TRNCLN## Endocrinology.
* CHECK: Your critical OPA triggers.

* You just applied the SmartData Element Measles dx does not apply to this encounter for Mathilda.
2. CHECK: OPA #1, which originally appeared in Storyboard, should disappear since its criteria are no longer met.
3. Close Mathilda's patient workspace.
If you reopen Mathilda's encounter, will OPA #2 trigger again? It should not.
1. Reopen Mathilda's encounter in TRNCLN## Endocrinology.
* Search > Encounter.
* Search for and select your Mathilda patient.
2. CHECK: OPA #2 does NOT trigger again when you reopen the encounter.
* Why not? The logic statement is no longer met due to the SmartData Element now applied to this encounter.3. You've finished this exercise.
