Have short leg and short tall
Have eyes but they not see well
Can hear and smell very well
Leave me alone
Live alone for most of their live
Only live together to have more hedgehogs
Hedgehogs are funny little animals
What are hedgehogs?
Are mammals
Have sharp squills on back
Stay away!
Roll themselve into ball when they scare
Sharp squills stick out to keep other animals away
Why are they call that?
Look under grass and bush for food
They also make sound like little hogs
What do they eat?
Eat insect and worm
Also eat spider,snail,slug,frog,toad,lizard and snake
Night animal
Do most thing at night and sleep most of day
Roll up in ball when they sleep
Digging animal
Live in burrows they dig with their front feet
Sometime live in burrow dug by hares or fox
Where do they live?
Live in Europe,Asia and Africa
Brought to New Zealand and now some live there
