Ping test
• ping ONT, brass, dns
• nslookup website
=> when no internet happen, detect which network segment is experiencing issues
Monitor RAM,CPU,process
=> Show data in the chart, detect the stop working process
Capture airframes/packets in real-time and save them in each 500MB files, retaining data for two days.
Checking Configuration
• Test 100 times of soft/hard reboots and then check the configuration for any losses or interface down.
• Simulate a sudden power outage during the boot process and then check the configuration.
• Upgrade or downgrade the firmware and then check the configuration.
Bandsteering
• RSSI of MiniPC > -65dBm, connect the miniPC's Wi-Fi interface to ONT via SSID.
=>Check if wlan interface is successfully connected to 5G.
• Reboot ONT, MiniPC1 should initially connect to the 2.4G.
=> If miniPC does not automatically switch to 5G within 5 minutes, check system log if ONT sent out BTM -> acceptable. If not the test FAILS.
• RSSI of MiniPC1 ~ -65 dBm -70dBm, test a pingpong

Play multicast in 24 hours, then check packet loss

Step 3: Capture WAN packets check inform messages via wireshark

Step 4: check SerialNumber:MAC if not FAIL
Test process in periordical inform messages:
Step1: Change periodical inform time to 5 mins via command
Step2: Capture WAN packets check inform messages via wireshark
Filter http && ip.addr == 118.69.0.0/16,
Step 3: check periodical inform messages sent out in every 5 mins or not.
Step4: If sent with MAC => PASS,
If sent with SN or not sent in 5 mins => FAIL

• MiniPC1 is in short distance (RSSI ~ -30 dBm)
• MiniPC2 is in medium distance (RSSI ~ -50 dBm)
• MiniPC3 is in far distance (RSSI ~ -75 dBm)
