Why do we seek knowledge?

This also includes seeking knowledge for career advancement and social connections
C: the knowledge we acquire can help others
Some people are altruistic. By seeking knowledge, they can help people in need by creating innovative solutions or providing more information
Objects: cancer research (one specific research paper)
Key concept "Responsibility" - e.g. doctors feel that they have the responsibility to seek knowledge in order to save their patient
