Male
Controlling: Men were seen as very controlling of their wife's and kids they were supposed to be the authority not just over their kids but often their wives in earlier times.
Forceful: Men were seen as very forceful to get their way like they would push it till it worked in their favor. Quote Honor Code: "People who don’t fit this cultural ideal respond by disengaging and rebelling."
Hunting: This has always been seen as the mans job to get food and because hunting and violence go hand and hand it wasn't seen very feminine to hunt.
Loud: It was see as masculine for a man to be loud and it was also seen as authorative where women weren't supposed to be authorative.
Violent: Men were seen as more violent purely chemically and capability. Quote Honor Code: "He’d get in a serious wrestling match with his buddy Falstaff, and, by the time he got him in a headlock, there’d be suspensions all around."
Female
Sarcastic: Women typically tend to be more sarcastic and satirical especially when it comes to mens behaviors.
Manipulative: Women didn't always have the same rights as men so they tended to be pretty manipulative in order to be voiced and have their agendas come into play. This can be seen in how they played along with the sexual harassment that came with working manly jobs. Quote Manly Jobs: "women will play up their femininity and flirt a little bit".
Ignorant: Women don't often listen to others opinions and once they have made up their mind they will simply search for others with similar view points at least during this time.
Shy: Women stereotypically weren't supposed to be overpowering they were more supposed to be a fool.
Indecisive: Women tend to be indecisive and take longer deciding what they want to wear or buy stereotypically.

Professions
Female
Laundry cleaning because women were often viewed as those who are supposed to clean and do inside jobs. Quote Manly Jobs: "Women in so-called men’s jobs are labeled either “sluts or dykes".
Day care because women were supposed to be the ones who took care of children and were better for childrens development and were more sympathetic. Quote Manly Jobs "A good miner was someone who cared for their co-workers. They were responsible. These were issues that women could also embody.”

Nail tech is seen as another job for women by women as it wouldn't make much sense for a male who doesn't fully understand the idea to do it because it wasn't socially accepted for men to pain their fingernails and such.

Mining: Men have always been the ones who did mining as it is typically pretty hard on your respiratory system and takes a lot of strength.
Electrician: Men would be electricians because the job was seen as to complicated and too much physical labor for women.
Lawyers: Men were seen as smarter and more aggressive typically people wouldn't listen to what a women had to say like they would a man in a court of law. Especially when the jury consisted of all white males.
Doctor: Males were thought to be smarter than women so they took positions that required higher education.
Emotion
Female
Sad: When women are sad peers will typically try to bring them up it is far more acceptable in society for a female to be sad.
Fear: It is acceptable for a women to be afraid and its typically at that point the mans job to take care of it at least thats how it was seen in society a few decades ago.
Happy: Women often try to at least pretend to be happy because this is more apealing to men and they feel this makes them more comfortable to be around.
Low self esteem: This is more acceptable for women when men are supposed to be confident in everything they do.

Anger: One emotion that is more acceptable for men in society is anger because it seems more powerful and men are supposed to be seen as powerful.
Immature: Men take longer to mature than women and typically even once they have matured they are still seen as less mature.
Brave: Men are supposed to be seen as brave where no matter the risk they will still try to get the task done. Quote Honor Code Reading: "teachers would be all over him for breaking the safety rules."
Fearless: Men are supposed to be the ones who take care of killing pests such as spiders and such they are not supposed to be afraid.
Less Emotional: When men are emotional they are seen as weak by society so they learn to hide their emotions and not pay to much attention to them.
Appearances
Male
Muscular: Men naturally due to testosterone will build muscle easier than women and therefore it was considered more important socially for men to have muscle.
Wider Frame: Men are desired to look very bulky and strong in society as they are supposed to look powerful by nature and powerful in business.

Weight: Men do not have the same target fat percentage as women so they are typically not supposed to have as much fat as women.

Long hair: Even today more often women have long hair women with short hair are typically called gay.
Cute, Pretty: There is a lot of pressure for women to look attractive and comforting to others.
