The old regime was disapeareing thanks to the separaition of powers. Isabel tried to organise countries power

During shes ruling, two political parties: Moderate and Progressive parties. Two groups had different ideologies
Military victory over the carlists
There where two succesors, his brother and his daughter. After the First Carlist war Isabel won.
Constitutions
Two where stablished, progressive parliament and against Maria Cristinas wishes. The other approved by a moderate parliament favoured by the young queen.
Centralism
Despite different political tendencies on how autonomous or centralised the new state should be, moderantism imposed a strongly centralised government.

Some land was sold, which affected to Councils and Churchs. But they could fight against the carlists

Isabel II’s regime was based on the queen’s great power. She selected the country’s prime ministers from a group of moderate politicians

Spain had a democratic liberal regime, but severe political conflicts hindered the revolutionary process.

He stablished a democratic monarchy, and they selected Amadeo for being the new king
