Stranded/injured animals are known mostly because of calls from individuals such as tourists, fishermen, or businessmen through the National Stranding Registration
The underlying cause of each animal's need for rescue and rehabilitation were not determined therefor there is no data on it
Cetaceans were not considered in the study because their rehab is more complex for the limited capacity of the rehab centers
The amount of data collected from endangered species is considerably lower than that of vulnerable or least concerned species
There is no data sheet regarding animals found deceased or released immediately after being stranded
