Document 12, Written by President Willson, April 2, 1917. Willson belived that war was a only option to fight against the growing German threat in Europe. "But the right is more precious than peace." and he goes on by saying "The world must be safe for democracy."
Document 8, A poster hung on the streets in Britain shows a picture depicting Germany interfering with American trade and Britain ultimatly being the protecter. This is a pro war properganda poster.
Document 11, American patience is sinking due to submarine warfare stalling trade. This brings the question how much longer until America says enough is enough?
Document 9, Zimmerman Telegram, January 19,1917. Germany asks Mexico to declare war on the American Promising old former teritorries that were lost intergrated by Mexico prior to the loss. Which when the Americans found out about the plot they would declare war.

Document 1, Written by Woodrow Wilson to the American people. This speech influenced Americans to look towards neutrality despite a large ethnic German, and European population due to immigration. "The United States must be neutral in fact, as well as a name."

Document 2, Written by Secretry of State William Jennings, on Augest 10, 1914. Written to express what he thinks about loaning money to France. Saying " Neutral would not loan to bedligerents." This shows that he belives this would make America noneutral.
