Boil the leaf
To break down cell walls
Immerse the leaf in hot alchohol
To remove green pigment (CHLOROPHYLL)
Use iodine
If starch is present
Iodine will turn dark blue
If starch is not present
Iodine will remain reddish brown
Increases when the rate of photosynthesis increases

Carbon dioxide
Not the same when testing if carbon dioxide i present
Lime water test
Test if carbon dioxide is needed for photosynthesis
Chlorophyll
